Local electronic music titan Hassan Abou Alam has forged a unique sound that has reverberated across borders, publishing his work since 2008 on diverse labels such as Casa Voyager and Naive. His hard to pin down sound utilizes analog and digital instruments, and his further success as a DJ places him in a singular position to pass his genre-bending knowledge down to aspiring producers.
