Murefix Quick Cement

One of Bygging Intercontinental ' excellent materials

Description:

Murefix was developed especially for operations that don’t allow much time, e.g. for a quick fixing of wall hooks, wash basins, radiators, banisters (for stairs and balconies), for grappling of all kinds, and for sealing and dowel work.

Method of use:

•Prepare a creamy paste by mixing 3 parts by weight of Murefix with 1 part water (or 1 kg Murefix with approx. 350 g water). It is important that always the water is worked into Murefix and not vice versa.
•Murefix – paste should be mixed & should be used very quickly, since it becomes as hard as stone within few minutes.
•It is not possible to delay the setting time of Murefix by adding more water.
•When placing dowels, hooks, supports etc., the wall hole must first be widened in funnel form towards the back, then thoroughly wetted, before the Murefix –paste can be placed.
•In order to stop up and seal the irruptions, the Murefix – mortar should be pressed firmly into the leak for 3 or 4 minutes with a trowel or by hand, until the paste has completely hardened. In some cases it will be practical to fill the dry Murefix – powder into the leak and to press until Murefix has set with the penetrating water.
•Since Murefix is setting and hardening so quickly, it is possible to grind the surfaces, if necessary, after a short time already (20 to 30 minutes).
•On larger operations, up to 2 volume– parts of sand can be added. In that case the setting time will be slightly re****ed.

Cemtex Injector
Description
Water cut-off grout and soil stabilization grout made of polyurethane, which reacts with water by expanding and foaming. The cured product is a cellular material.
Cemtex Injector is approved for use in areas of potable waters

Applications
- Cemtex Injector is extremely well suited to the filling of large cavernous spaces and cracks in stone or concrete structures.
- Additionally, Cemtex Injector is used for cutting off gushing water of high pressure and speed. We strongly recommend full filling by injection to permanently waterproof and seal leaks in the structure.
- Cemtex Injector can also be used as an effective chemical grout for soil stabilization. The moisture content of the soil must be sufficient to ensure reaction of the material.
- The stabilized soil will be of a constant volume and will be insensitive to moisture or dryness. Mixing ratio (parts by volume) Comp.A/10 Accelerator Comp. B 2
- Since Cemtex Injector reacts only with water, the mixture does not have to be used immediately.
- As soon as Cemtex Injector comes into contact with water, an evolution of foam takes place expanding up to 30 times by volume. This foam hardens at 68 ° F 20 ° C in approximately 60 sec.
- Cemtex Injector may be applied with a single component pump.
Due to its low viscosity, the foaming process and the high-pressure injection Cemtex Injector penetrates quickly into the smallest crack

Concrete injection to stop water leaks is one of the most successful systems in the world to stop leaks immediately. Stopping leaks from a water tank by the traditional waterproofing systems for example takes at least a month using normal insulation methods, and consumes large quantities of materials and a high number of skilled labors, which leads to a very high cost and a very long time; and despite that, the result is not guaranteed.

In contrast, injecting the tank with polyurethane materials such as Cemtex Injector will eliminate leaks in a period not exceeding two days with only two technicians, and therefore there is no comparison between the injection system and traditional insulation, neither in terms of price nor time, in addition to the fact that injection work gives visible results and therefore it is 100% guaranteed.
