We’re a coalition of youth activists and change makers fighting to preserve human rights, accountability, and justice under AI, especially as algorithms are all too often deployed to erode civil liberties. Mobilizing a global network of volunteers from all over the United States and world, we champion informed AI policy that addresses automated bias and discrimination through political advocacy, community organizing, and content creation.
There are three parts in this team:
The Policy team: researches and drafts original policy proposals for Encode Justice's internal, youth-led AI policy think tank.
The Advocacy team: lobbies for the Policy team's proposals by meeting with legislators worldwide, hosts community events/town halls, and oversees phone banking/text banking/email banking.
