What are the costs of placing our identities in the hands of those in power? What happens when our ideas of identity become colonized—reshaped to erase the very forces that make most people who they are, instead of asking the fundamental questions about social equality? We live in a world that treats equality as a slogan rather than a belief; a world that turns social circumstances into entertainment rather than a mirror to reflect on our not-so-inclusive past, and on a future that is far from collective. And how are these very inequalities reflected back to us through large language models? Utopia

Building her paintings like someone sorting through a drawer of inherited objects. Deciding what still holds meaning and what might actually be a trap.

Born and based in Cairo in 1998, she works in oil on wood, building on folk aesthetics and the visual language of domestic ritual.

Soliman’s symbols repeat with the insistence of memory: eyes inside ornamental medallions, disembodied ears and hands floating like forgotten traces, circles of women gathered around something vague, snakes looping back around themselves and eating their own tails, a heart trapped inside a labyrinth.
The result is a world that feels familiar and slightly skewed at the same time.

Her work captures the daily events that form us - The rituals we perform subconsciously, the structures we inherit without questioning.

How familiar her work feels is exactly what makes it uncomfortable.
Floral borders and Mother of pearl textures recall family interiors and inherited objects, yet the scenes inside them are off.

Mariam’s work circles around the idea of the “tribe”: family, community, the social bonds that protect us, and sometimes hurt us.
She’s interested in how these bonds react under pressure: conflict, wars, and the destructive instincts inside human nature.

Swipe through this selection of work to enter a journey of her visual logic.

A museum opened, and Riyadh became its second room.

At the Embassy of Egypt in Riyadh, the opening of the in Cairo was felt as a shared moment.

Ambassador Ihab Aboserie and his wife .sahar gathered royals, diplomats, and cultural figures to honor Egypt’s legacy unfolding anew.

Replicas of Tutankhamun’s treasures, sent from the Grand Egyptian Museum, shimmered under the embassy lights—reminders of a civilization that still speaks in gold and silence. .hassanallam 's curated gifts and ’s symbolic gesture of flight carried that same idea forward: Heritage in motion, crossing borders of geography and time.

That night, Cairo and Riyadh shared a single story.

Twenty years of waiting ends tomorrow.
opens not as a building, but as a reckoning.
For centuries, Egypt's heritage has been scattered across the world, Fragmented in foreign museums, locked in private collections, separated from its source.
Tomorrow, history changes.
This museum is an act of cultural sovereignty. A deliberate reclamation. Egypt telling its own story, in its own voice, on its own land.
Over 100,000 artifacts return to context. Objects that have been displayed as curiosities now stand as testimony. The complete Tutankhamun collection, reunited for the first time in a century. Not as spectacle, but as inheritance.
The architecture itself is a statement. Positioned to face the pyramids—not the world. A conversation between Egypt's past and Egypt's future, with no intermediary needed.
This opening is more than a cultural event. It's a shift in power. A refusal to let history be written by those who took it. A monument to memory, yes—but also to autonomy.
Tomorrow, the doors open.
Not just to visitors, but to a different understanding of whose story this is.
Egypt speaks. The world listens.

What is happening in El Fasher today is not far from what is happening in Gaza.
One pain, one enemy. No matter how many masks it wears!
Two cities besieged by silence and fire, where the bodies of civilians bear the cost of politics, greed, and Arab abandonment.
In El Fasher, tens of thousands have been displaced in just a few days.
And in Gaza 260,000 people are left without shelter, food, or medicine, the bleeding continues with more than 67,000 martyrs and millions displaced.

From dental instruments to paintbrushes.
journey moves from percision to perception
The Cairo-based self taught surrealist painter and muralist explores hidden corners of human psyche through oil, light and atmosphere.
In his world, Reality gives way to Surreality where figures drift through dreamlike waters, clouds carry memory, and the silence takes shape.
His paintings exist somewhere between emotion and illusion, where surrealism merge into one continuous thought.

His commitemt to art extends beyond his own studio guiding hunderds of students throughout Egypt, UAE and Japan toward their artistic journeys.
