🎬 Movie Night at Spring Hub: Midagi tõelist

Join us this Wednesday for a special screening of the Estonian thriller Midagi tõelist — but this isn’t just any movie night…

Our very own community member Ivan’s daughter, Sofia (P**i), appears in the film as the main character’s daughter! Before the screening, Ivan and P**i will share a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what it was like to be part of the filmmaking process 🎥

We’ll transform our lounge into a cozy movie theatre, grab some snacks, and enjoy the thriller together.

If you’re new to Estonia, here’s a little story behind the day:

Vastlapäev comes from the Swedish word fastlag — the festive days before Lent, when people would soon give up rich food and celebrations. So this was the moment to feast, sled, and enjoy time together.

In Estonia, families gathered for pea or bean soup with pork, and — in more recent years — sweet cream buns. Children (and adults!) went sledding, believing that the longer the ride, the better the flax harvest in summer.

No sledding required in Spring Hub… but definitely not prohibited. 😉

It’s Valentine’s Day. And in Estonia, it’s also Friend’s Day. 🤍

Today we’re inspired by Esther Perel, who reminds us that workplace happiness begins with friendship.

This week, Spring Hub received an upgrade — and it came in a very, very large box.

Our 18-person meeting room projector had reached the end of its journey and was sent into well-deserved retirement. In its place: a new 98-inch screen.

On the wall, it looks sleek and impressive.
In its box? Absolutely ENOURMOUS!

What we didn’t expect was how much excitement that box would create in the office. Questions, guesses, jokes, strategic stairwell planning… and plenty of laughter as it made its way upstairs. We’re pretty sure even Santa has already received a few requests for next year.

Thankfully, it fit. And thanks to helping hands from our community members, it made it safely to its new home.
Now our members — and everyone booking our large meeting room — can enjoy the upgrade.

And yes… to answer the inevitable question: it would be perfect for catching the Winter Olympics together. 😉

Recently we hosted an engaging seminar by Recrur in our lounge, where we explored the often tricky world of recruitment and tackled one big question:
Who’s really responsible for hiring? 🤔

Some thoughtful takeaways from the discussion:
🔹 The team lead plays a key role – they often know best who the team truly needs
🔹 Culture and values matter – skills are important, but mindset and fit make all the difference
🔹 Strong collaboration between recruiters and leaders builds strong teams

It was a meaningful conversation with fresh perspectives and great energy.

But honestly... every day feels like Coffee Day in Spring Hub.

We don’t just drink coffee here.
We gather around it.
We start our mornings with it.
We swap ideas, take breathers, and share laughs — and tears — over it.

But the truth is — it’s not really about the coffee.
It’s about connecting!

Coffee is just the excuse.
A reason to pause. A reason to talk.
A simple ritual that brings us together and makes this place feel like a warm, cosy home.

That’s why the coffee’s always on us- it's our way of saying: we see you, we appreciate you, you matter —
and we’ll always have a cup waiting.
