Khövsgöl (or Khovsgol) Lake — one of Mongolia’s most breathtaking natural treasures!

Known as the “Blue Pearl of Mongolia,” this crystal-clear lake stretches 136 km in length, reaches depths of 262 m, and holds around 70% of the country’s freshwater. Surrounded by taiga forest and mountain landscapes, its vivid blue water is so clear it is often compared to the Caribbean.
