International XR-Metaverse Conference 2026 is coming to Tallinn on June 16–19! 🤝🏼

Under the theme “Converging Realities: Industry, Education & AI-Enabled Virtual Worlds”, XRM2026 will bring together researchers, industry professionals, educators, developers, and creatives exploring the future of XR, AI, immersive technologies, and virtual environments.

🇪🇪 Hosted from June 16–19 in Tallinn, Estonia, the conference combines academic research, industry insights, workshops, networking, and hands-on discussions on how physical and virtual realities are increasingly merging across sectors such as industry, education, healthcare, simulation, and entertainment.

This year’s keynote speakers include:

🎙️ Santeri Saarinen (Helsinki XR Center / XR4Europe / Virtual Worlds Association)
💬 “Building the European XR Ecosystem”, exploring collaboration, innovation networks, and the future of XR development across Finland and Europe

🎙️ Sercan “Sarge” Altundas (Neocortex / formerly of Ready Player Me)
💬 “The Arrival of Generative AI in VR and Games”, exploring the use of LLMs, image generation, and voice AI in gaming and immersive VR applications

🎙️ Madis Vasser (Researcher Fellow of Virtual Reality at University of Tartu)
💬 “Insights from Studying Insight with Virtual Reality”, exploring VR and mixed reality research on human insight and cognition, from psychedelic VR replications to emulated AR smart glasses

🎙️ Sonya Seddarasan (Senior XR Product Designer)
💬 “The Spatial Leap: Frameworks for Designing XR Experiences”, exploring modular approaches to XR frameworks in spatial UI/UX design and workflows from Figma to Prototyping.

Conference proceedings will be published by Springer and indexed in SCOPUS.

The event is organised by IAITI – International Association of Immersive Technology Innovation, hosted by TalTech’s Industrial Virtual & Augmented Reality (IVAR) Lab, and supported by Manchester Metropolitan University and EEVR – Estonian VR & AR Association.
