The chemicals tanker Tamaya, a japanese ship, was abandoned by its crew shortly after leaving the senegalese port Dakar under mysterious circumstances. Its washed up on the cost in Liberia completly empty and was looted by the locals.

Some sources say that there was a mutiny on board. Other claim insurance fraud.

This abandoned Circus was once the home of a famous group of artists. It was part of an alternative village founded for a catholic priest. At its height the village comprised of a church, hospital, several bars and the circus, drawing in crowds from all over Galicia. Now the village is almost uninhabitated and the circus lies empty. Once filled with laughter and music all one hears is water dropping from the ceiling ans the wind whistling through wholes in the cover

Corvettes Joaõ Coutinho and Jacinto Cândido served in the Protugese Navy in the Indian and African colonies and have seen action in the Angolan civil war. After their decommissioning in 2014 and 2018 they are moored somewhere in Portugal waiting for the salavaging company to cut them up in pieces. Sad story, but a meeeega cool lost place.

Alike the ruins of a lost temple in the rainforest, lie the ruins of Convento de São Francisco do Monte close to Viana do Castello in North Portugal. Its rare to find a lost place with such an amazing atmosphere somewhere else other than in Portugal.
