We first pitched HAIR OF HARE last June at Cinéma de Demain – SFC | Rendez-vous Industry Focus WiP, where it received the Audience Award ❤️

This time around, it was sooooo exciting to pitch a short film alongside features - and judging by the feedback, applause (thank you!!! 🙌), and big smiles in the room, the beatboxing rabbits really stole the show @ When East Meets West 🐰🐰🐰

So thrilled we also received the CEE Animation Award 🏆✨

What a way to kick off the year ✨ This will give us a strong boost to kick off that production ❤️‍🔥❤️

Good morning, Estonia! Today, on the International Short Film Day, Estonian shorts are taking over Kino Artis in Tallinn & Thule KINO in Saaremaa! Miisufy is among them! A chance to see our virtual cats on a big screen ✨🎬

Last weekend we were pitching with Liisi at the Baltic Pitching Forum and received one of the main awards - an invitation to ShorTO Film Market 🔥

This project began at the EU–Japanese residency just 5 months ago, and we’re beyond thrilled to see it all come together like this! 🍀

Joon pöörab uues filmis pea peale Jaapani bunraku teatri nukunäitlejad ning muundab nad teetöölisteks.

To discuss the project and other creative endeavors, Sander sat down with Tiina Kruus, who writes: "Joon’s new film carries over a method he’s been exploring in his recent animations: capturing environments and sounds, then giving them a playful, slightly absurd twist through his own perspective. “3 kurokos” is that world brought to life — unexpected corners of Japan, reframed through Joon’s unique sense of humor."
