La Fundación Yakum busca una comunicadora o comunicador local para apoyar la estrategia de comunicación institucional, gestionar redes sociales y documentar procesos y actividades en territorio, visibilizando el trabajo en proyectos de conservación y comunitario.

👥 Perfil deseado:
• Formación o experiencia en comunicación y creación de contenidos digitales.
• Manejo de redes sociales y herramientas básicas audiovisuales.
• Experiencia o interés en trabajo comunitario y territorial.
• Deseable residencia en Tena.
• Deseable conocimiento de idioma Runa Shimi.

• Modalidad: medio tiempo

What an incredible week at !!!

Founder Nick spent 5 days in Kings Cross at Earth Fest with YAKUM Ambassadors and sharing our collective work.

3 Keynote speeches, one live performance powered by plants 🪴 and an incredible interactive installation by on Granary Square (which will be there all June!), a screening of award winning film PËKËYA and an Amazon Fruit Tasting session made for an unforgettable week!

We made incredible contacts and learnt so much about how sustainability is happening at industry level across London. Many thanks and special thanks to for getting Yakum the spot and creating a platform to make our work visible at the event, to for showing your incredible film and for trekking from Brighton to help share Yakum with new contacts!! Not to mention cameo from intern Oliver Johns on stage!

YAKUM will be teaming up with to showcase a new documentary short from our trip to the Peruvian border with the Siekopai to collect forest fruit seeds from giant trees only found in their homeland of Lagartococha.

recorded sounds from these trees during the trip, and will be playing his new music created from these recordings!!

Keñao's reforestation festival in Siekoya Remolino! Go ladies 👏 💙

Siekopai fruits and seeds collected in Pëkëya or "Lagartococha" this April...

These seeds will be used to reforest a 20ha deforested area on the edge of Siekopai territory, where invaders logged over 100ha. Hope to share photos of them germinating soon!

First trees planted in YAKUM's Nutritional Forest project with .cumbaya are going in the ground in communities Ayapata, Chaupishungu, Inchillaqui, La Libertad and Sacha Waysa this month. Victor, Florinda, Diego and Angel shown in the pictures training communities in taking GPS points to mark planting areas, planting Açaí palms in the corners and handing over materials for nursery expansion.

Primeros arboles sembrados en el proyecto "Bosque Nutricional" de YAKUM en conjunto con Rotario Internacional de Oregon, Rotaract Cumbaya y Club Rotario Rumiñaui, en comunidades Ayapata, Chaupishungu, Inchillaqui, La Libertad and Sacha Waysa este mes.
