More from the Salon Del Chocolate expo today. Lots of vendors and producers. One of the more important finds was a producer of Vanilla Beans, from which of course vanilla extraxt is made.

This is about a product from Ecuador that is known around the world as the very best! Ecuadorian Arriba Cacao, used to make the very finest chocolates anywhere! Got to sample some yesterday, but have been eating chocolate made from this Cacao for decades! Having access to this anytime we want it does not necessarily help out the waistline!

I watched David Miño of Isveglio as he prepared this amazing beverage using dark chocolate from Pakal blended with espresso and steamed milk. Are your taste buds sending messages that one is waiting for you? This is a "jewel" waiting to be discovered while you're in Quito.

Watching the latte art was just a plus! Next time I have to get this on video because it is so cool to watch it being created.
