Vicki Modell tuvo una vida dedicada a salvar vidas y familias, para evitar que otros padres sufrieran el mismo dolor por el que ella inició su legado. Que en paz descanses querida Vicki, los que quedamos intentaremos ser dignos herederos de tu lucha por hacer un mundo mejor. Mi más sentido pésame para Fred, su amado esposo, familiares, amigos y compañeros de lucha. Que tu luz permanezca siempre en esas vidas que cambiaste y las que seguirán mejorando gracias a tu labor que ha impactado mucho a todos los que te conocimos.
Vicki Modell had a life dedicated to saving lives and families, to prevent other parents from suffering the same pain for which she began her legacy. May you rest in peace dear Vicki, those of us who remain will try to be worthy heirs of your fight to make a better world. My sincere condolences to Fred, her beloved husband, family, friends, and fellow fighters. May your light always remain in those lives that you changed and those that will continue to improve thanks to your work that has greatly impacted all of us who knew you. Jeffrey Modell Foundation

The Jeffrey Modell Foundation is deeply saddened to announce that our beloved Co-Founder, Vicki Modell, has passed away.

Vicki was a strong, courageous, and empathetic leader, and was the heart of the Foundation for 37 years. She dedicated her life to the Primary Immunodeficiency community and touched the lives of millions of people.

Vicki was a friend to so many, and loved attending global workshops and meetings, surrounded by our community. She was proud to support groundbreaking research, provide educational opportunities for physicians, pursue advocacy and awareness efforts, and encourage patient support programs worldwide.

We mourn her death and will miss her terribly. Vicki’s dedication and love for patients and their families will be her legacy forever.
