The road was practicable few days ago, but this time it's the official opening of the new direct road between Bavaro and Miches whose path will be approximately 1 hour. This is very good news for the excursion Whales watching from Miches, south of Samana Bay starting on January 15. It is also good for those from Bayahibe, since there will be less than 2 hours to go to Miches. It is also good for the Tropical tour crossing the mountain and then follow the coast, the Laguna Limon VIP tour and in a few months for the tour Los Haitises with its extension to Sabana de la Mar.
