β¨ Monday Motivation β¨
Start the week with a reminder that shapes every great business:
βPut yourself in your customerβs place.β
β Orison Swett Marden, American inspirational author
At Outsource Development, this is more than a quote, itβs how we operate every day. As we step into a new week, we focus on what truly matters:
π Understanding before responding
π Serving with intention, not assumption
π Creating experiences that feel easy, respectful, and meaningful
When we take time to see things from our customerβs perspective, we donβt just deliver a service, we build trust, loyalty, and long-term value.
π‘ A strong week in business starts with a simple mindset: always put the customer first.
Wishing you a productive and purposeful week ahead.

Outsourcing is not a shortcut, it is the strategy every serious business owner eventually discovers.
The leaders building the most successful businesses are not trying to do it all. They know exactly where their strengths lie, and they trust the right partners to handle everything else.
That clarity is what separates the businesses that survive from the ones that scale.
At Outsource Development, we become the team behind your team, handling the operations, the processes, and the details that drain your time and energy, so you can focus on what you do best.
This Monday, make a smart move. Reach out to us and start building the business you actually envisioned.

Connecting the people of the Caribbean! This would Be a blessing!
The DAIC is pleased to share that President Mrs. Olive Strachan and members of the Board recently travelled to Guadeloupe to participate in a Karulink Steering Committee meeting β a significant step forward in regional efforts to establish a scheduled intra-island ferry service connecting Dominica π©π² Β· Guadeloupe π¬π΅ Β· St. Kitts & Nevis π°π³ Β· Antigua & Barbuda π¦π¬.
A feasibility study is now underway to assess the commercial viability, logistics, and regulatory framework for the proposed ferry route. The DAIC participated as a representative of Dominica's private sector, ensuring that the voice of Dominican businesses is at the table as this initiative takes shape.
Why does this matter for Dominica?
πΉ Tourism β A regular ferry service would open Dominica to day-trip and short-stay visitors from Guadeloupe, Antigua, and St. Kitts, markets currently underserved by limited direct access
πΉ Trade β Scheduled maritime connectivity reduces the cost and complexity of moving goods between islands, helping Dominica's exporters reach regional markets
πΉ Labour & services β Easier inter-island movement supports the exchange of skilled professionals and service providers across the Eastern Caribbean
πΉ Investment β A Dominica that is easily reachable from neighbouring islands is a more attractive destination for regional and international investors
This initiative complements the development of Dominica's new international airport, together creating a more connected, accessible, and competitive island economy.
The DAIC looks forward to the outcomes of the feasibility study and will continue to represent the interests of Dominica's private sector as Karulink advances. ππ©π²

Welcome, June πΏ!
A new month brings a new opportunity to reset, refocus, and rise.
May is behind us, carrying its lessons and wins, both big and small.
June is your reminder that progress does not have to be loud to be meaningful. Keep showing up, keep refining, and keep believing in what youβre building.
This month, choose intention over pressure, consistency over perfection, and growth over comfort.
Letβs make June a month of clarity, momentum, and purpose. π

June 1 is a time of increased or accelerated planning! While we prepare for the worst we hope for the best ! Time to dust off those β¦.. emergency plans π¨ check out the release from DAIC!
β οΈ 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season β The DAIC is calling on Dominica's private sector to act now.
As June 1st marks the official start of the Atlantic Hurricane Season, the Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce (DAIC) is issuing a clear message to every business in Dominica and the wider Caribbean:
Preparedness is no longer optional. Hurricanes are not the only threat. Businesses today face flooding, heat events, landslides, water shortages, power and communication outages, supply chain disruptions, and economic shocks. You must prepare for every hazard, not hurricanes alone.
The private sector is a critical pillar of national development, employment, and recovery. When businesses are not prepared, communities and livelihoods suffer. Resilient businesses build resilient communities.
Under the leadership of President Mrs. Olive Strachan MBE, Business Resilience and Sustainability is a key DAIC priority for 2026. The Chamber actively engages the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), CARICHAM, and the ARISE Network, where DAIC serves as the ARISE Focal Point for Dominica to strengthen private sector integration into Multi-Hazard Early Warning Systems and regional resilience frameworks.
As the season begins, DAIC urges every business to:
β
Review your emergency and business continuity plans
β
Update your contact and communication systems
β
Protect critical data and operations
β
Assess supply chain risks
β
Train staff and conduct preparedness exercises
β
Stay informed through official channels
β
Prepare for multiple hazards , not hurricanes alone
The DAIC will be sharing practical tools and resources with the private sector in the coming days. Stay connected with us for updates.
"Every business, regardless of their size, matters in building a resilient Dominica."
Mrs. Olive Strachan MBE, President, DAIC

β³Time is the one resource every business receives equally. Success comes from how wisely you invest it and who you trust to help you make the most of it.
Every business owner, manager, and entrepreneur has the same 24 hours in a day. The difference lies in how those hours are spent.
When leaders are overwhelmed with administrative tasks, operational demands, and day-to-day responsibilities, valuable time is taken away from strategic planning, innovation, and business growth.
At Outsource Development Studio Inc., we help organizations maximize their time and resources through professional outsourcing, training, and consulting solutions. By partnering with the right experts, businesses can streamline operations, increase productivity, and focus on what matters most, achieving their goals and driving sustainable success.
Work smarter. Lead strategically. Grow confidently.
