Graduation 2026: Information Guide & Important Dates

Dominica State College to Host 24th Commencement Ceremony on July 8th

The Dominica State College (DSC) will confer degrees on approximately 350 graduands during its 24th Commencement Ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.

In the lead-up to this milestone event, a special Honors Ceremony will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at the Goodwill Parish Hall to recognize outstanding academic achievement.

Graduands will receive degrees from the following faculties:
 Faculty of Applied Arts & Technology (FAAT)
 Faculty of Arts & Sciences (FAS)
 Faculty of Education (FOE)
 Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS)
 Faculty of General Studies (FGS)

The Commencement Ceremony will feature Miss Annika Bellot, International Climate Lawyer & UNFCCC Negotiator, as the Featured Speaker. The event will again be co-hosted by Ms. Kimberly Benjamin, Marketing & Communications Officer, and Mr. Aldon Gage, Senior I.T. Technician.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. and will highlight the hard work and perseverance of the 2026 graduating class.

Dominica State College extends sincere appreciation to the many sponsors who have partnered with us to celebrate the achievements of our students.

Dominica's national women's cricket captain, 22-year old Earnisha Fontaine, is set to break new ground as the first female cricketer from Dominica to earn a place in the Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL). 🏏

Fontaine has secured a spot with the Trinbago Knight Riders for the 2026 season, with the tournament scheduled to take place in Barbados this September.

A talented wicketkeeper-batter, Fontaine previously represented the West Indies at the Under-19 level and continues to make significant strides in her cricketing career.

Adding to her list of achievements, Fontaine is also preparing to graduate from Dominica State College in July, marking another important milestone both on and off the field.

🧹✨ Janitorial staff at Dominica State College recently participated in a valuable training session focused on professional cleaning practices and customer service excellence.

Presentations were delivered by Miss Etienne of Environmental Health and Miss Julien, Director of Tourism and Hospitality at DSC, who highlighted the important role janitorial staff play in creating positive customer experiences. Brief remarks were also shared by the Acting President, HR Manager, and the Bursar’s Assistant responsible for stock inventories and distribution of cleaning supplies, Public Safety Officer and Maintenance Facilities Manager.
