Yesterday, February 11th we celebrated International Day of Women and Girls in Science. One of founders and facilitators, Mrs Nicole Laville, who is a Director of Engineering visited the Campbell Primary school. She read “Abby Invents the Foldibot” from the Abby Invents Series by Dr. Arlyne Simon from the village of Laudat. The series highlights Abby, a little girl who is an inventor.

STEM Girls Club Explores the Science of Plant Propagation!
On March 8th, the STEM Girls Club visited the Dominica-China Agriculture Science Complex in Portsmouth for an exciting hands-on experience in tissue culture—a fascinating process that allows scientists to create multiple plants from a single parent plant!
The girls learned about plant propagation, lab techniques, and the role of science in agriculture, sparking curiosity about careers in biotechnology and agricultural research.
A huge thank you to the team at the Dominica-China Agriculture Science Complex for an engaging and educational experience!
