While leaving Jevgeni and Estonia behind, we're traveling to our office in South Africa and our partner Earl Valentine.

Earl joined Fiberpartner in 2014 and is responsible for sales in Southern Africa.

He has great experience in polyester fibers and yarns, predominantly for the nonwoven textile sector in South Africa.

Earls's interest is quite broad within the nonwoven field, and he is particularly keen to get our sustainable, biodegradable PET fibers used in products in South Africa.

As a private person, Earl is quite passionate about paragliding and especially having the opportunity to do this with other people like close friends.

Fun fact: Besides enjoying being up in the air Earl also loves being on the dancefloor to practice salsa.

FIBERS THAT ARE BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Recycled polyester, also known as rPET, is made from post-consumer recycled materials (PET plastic bottles and polyester fabrics). We’re able to deliver the same technical performance in fibers with a smaller environmental footprint.

WHY IS RECYCLED POLYESTER BETTER?

🌱 Turning unwanted bottles into new fibers reduces plastic waste and prevents it from ending up in landfills.

🌱 Recycled polyester doesn’t require new petroleum-based ingredients.

🌱 It also introduces up to 79% less CO₂ emissions than virgin polyester.

WHAT IS RECYCLED BICO FIBER?

Fiberpartner’s recycled low melt (LMF bico) fibers are a range of advanced staple fibers produced from two different polymers. These fibers have a core or sheath construction, where the sheath has a low bonding temperature. This core does not melt but secures the construction and strength of the final nonwoven or wadding. These fibers have a melting point of 110°C.

50% RECYCLED LOW MELT FIBER

We are excited to confirm that our low melt (LMF bico) fiber is also 50% recycled. In this way, Fiberpartner is taking important strides toward sustainability.

We are commercial with 2 & 4 den Low Melt (Bico) using PrimaLoft® Bio™ technology.

As part of our continuous work optimizing support and service for our customers, we naturally also focus on supply chain management. That is why we are now upgrading the team with yet a strong profile within supply chain management.

Please welcome Danny Lissau Thomsen, who takes up the position of Logistic Manager and thus gets the responsibility for optimization and coordination of the logistics part so that Fiberpartner can continue to ensure the best delivery options for customers.

Danny has extensive experience as a supply chain manager specializing in sea freight.

Before joining Fiberpartner, he worked for four years at DSV as a Forwarder.

Today we will present Jevgeni, our Business Development Manager based in Estonia.

Jevgeni joined Fiberpartner in January 2020 and is responsible for business and product developments. He has substantial experience in the bedding industry.

As a private person, Jevgeni is passionate about helping people get better at sleep, and next to his position at Fiberpartner, Jevgeni is also the co-founder of Dreamsville. It's a community and a series of tools and products to help everyone sleep better and, as an inevitable consequence, be better at being awake.

Specialized in the fibers and textile Market for near 40 years, Enrique has strong experience in Polyester Technologies, Fibers Production, and Sales of Fibers.

As a private person, Enrique is passionate about Sales, new Technologies, Service plus to Customers, and Runner, NFL, and F1.

Fun Fact: Enrique is a great runner and has several marathons behind him, even though he had two major surgery on the spine. When not on the road, he is doing a lot to learning to be a good Grandfather.
