Last night Horse Orchestra (DK/NO/SE/IS) won 2 awards at the Danish Music Awards Jazz 2022,
on top of that Jeppe Zeeberg won the award for Experimental Album of the year. Congratulations to all of them and thanks for letting me take part of the fun as recording/mixing engineer.

Okay, so we won some awards: 🏆 JAZZ COMPOSER OF THE YEAR (The Milkman Cometh) 🏆TRACK OF THE YEAR (Montag ist Vielleicht der Lustigste Tag) Thank you to the jury! And please remember that music is not a competition. Shout out to every single nominee for putting music out into the world. That’s what it’s really about. ♥️

Final balancing of the upcoming Baujillaud album today. We took a little time to up some vocals with the great, great, great Mingus Egetoft. Stay tuned for some freaky experimental rock with a touch. Have a nice weekend…

Just wrapped up 3 recording days with John Hassall & The April Rainers Fronted by rocknroll hero John Hassall of The Libertines with the great Erlend Benjamin Eggestad and Jakob Bruno Jansen duo on bass and drum duties. We worked on songs for an upcoming album. Here is a picture of a CCTV shot from the live room of the band recording a basic track thru the mighty Ol'Brit-manufactured Trident 80C console. What a splendid time!

During my return to the rocknroll circuit of EU this spring we had a picture taken with a camera. That picture just surfaced.
Its me with a bunch of Mighty VIPs on a great night in Liege. I cant remember but I think it was the night I started smoking again!? 🥦

I went to Gutter Island festival doing sound for The Tremolo Beer Gut this weekend. As a bonus I finally catched Glow Kit live celebrating their debut albums 10 years anniversary. An album mixed by me at Jens Benz Studio. Check out the album it's a great mixture of Memphis punk and great pop songs...thanks to Kristoffer and Kasper!
