Midsummer is better together.

On 23 June, Fyn & the Islands gather for Skt Hans by the water, in gardens, at harbours and local spots where the bonfire brings everyone a little closer.

Many places also take care of the food and drinks, so all you have to do is book your spot, bring your favourite people and let someone else handle the food, drinks and fire-lighting. How often do you get to run across three bridges in one half marathon - while the South Funen Archipelago does its best to distract you from your pulse? 🏃🏻‍♀️

This Saturday, Fynske Bank De 3 Broer half marathon sends runners from Rudkøbing to Svendborg across the three bridges: Langelandsbroen, Siø Sundbroen, and Svendborgsundbroen 🌉

The 2026 race is sold out, but the route is still very much open for cheering 👏🏾

Here are three spots perfect for catching the runners, cheer them on, and feeling the very specific energy of a half marathon morning:
