A mama messaged me after seeing a post from a 10-month postpartum woman who didn’t like her body and didn’t know what to do and see my reply
She thanked me for being compassionate and said maybe that’s the way to start
And she’s right. The first step is acknowledging how much we’ve done💚Our bodies are mama bodies, at least for some months
That’s just true
But here’s where I don’t fully agree with the “body acceptance” conversation because often health lives somewhere in the middle
Being compassionate with yourself and wanting to improve can absolutely coexist
And being in the shape you want at 10 months postpartum involves so many different factors diet, movement, internal health like thyroid and hormones
It’s never just one thing
But I think the starting point is always the same:
We feel out of control
And the truth is we’re not
We are in control
We can acknowledge that we’re postpartum and just went through the most profound physical transformation of our lives
We can acknowledge that something feels off and that we’re willing to make a change
And we are in control to take action and change what needs to be changed
Compassion first
Then direction💚

Since I lowered my level of inflammation, I started to digest better, eat better, drink better
I have so much more patience, tolerance, adaptability, strength, resilience, clarity, fun, and flexibility in my body and mind
I do believe that women deserve this
But some women cannot see the value of giving to themselves. We are so focused on giving to others that any investment in ourselves feels superficial, unnecessary
What I always wished for myself was more support, more information, more accountability, more closeness, and more personalisation
And that’s exactly what I’m giving now personalised maternal support💚

I wanted to summarise 4 years of healing in one post
But I will tell you
I have not done it all perfectly
Not at all
What I did was consistently improve
Layer after layer💚
Sometimes crying in despair
But I have this deep faith in health
Health in every sense of the word
And the belief that health can be found, produced, and created even when it feels like there is none left
I did not start perfect as a mother
And I do not want to become perfect
But I want to have a good body and mind for me, and for them so we can live a healthy life together💚
And that is my why
My mission is to help others learn more tips and toolsfood, supplements, home, and more and to reclaim the energy they once had💚

Let the results speak for themselves💚🥦
We started with medium levels of omega3 and a very bad ratio of omega3 to omega6 possible ongoing inflammation and a diet rich in omega6
After 5 months of daily intake, we have much better omega-3 levels, but even better an amazing ratio showing improvement in inflammation markers🌸
I recommend omega3 for everyone
Women, men, children.
It’s one of the most studied molecules and is considered a food-based supplement, not just another pill

Unfortunately there is not so much help, lots of informations online yes but not so much personalised and tailored help

My doctor recently ran some bloodwork
Everything came back fine
But ,
I know I’m in a specific situation right now
When you’re healing or detoxing, especially from something like mold, your body needs extra building blocks
Extra nutrients to repair cell membranes, support hormones, keep the whole system running
That’s what led me down the cholesterol topic
I grew up in the 90s
The fat-is-bad era🫠
Low fat everything, celebrate low cholesterol, avoid eggs
I absorbed all of it without questioning it and honestly I think it backfired on me
On my hormones and on my overall health
And it might even be part of why I reacted so badly to mold
If my body was already depleted already missing the raw materials it needed to detox it simply couldn’t cope when the load got too high
My functional medicine doctor helped me see this differently
And it changed everything about how I eat and support my body now
This is why I think these conversations are important
Standard results can look “fine” while your body is quietly asking for more

I wanted to share this because you have no idea how many people reach out to me since I started opening up about mold
It connects to so many aspects of health especially for us as mothers. Because when we become mothers, so many things get dismissed. Headaches? Normal. Fatigue? Normal. Low energy? Normal
But it is not
There is a layer of understanding I bring when I work with people around mindful nutrition, nutrient optimization, and balanced eating
But that is just one piece of the puzzle
Our lives, our environments, our personal histories are complex and Sometimes we need to go further
So I wanted to share where I am right now in my healing journey what I am discovering, what I am trying, what I am going through
