What is a Cask Finish?
After rum matures in its main barrel, it can be transferred to a different cask for extra aging.
The result?
This “finishing” step adds new layers of flavor from the wood and the spirit that was previously in the barrel. The final months in a finishing barrel can completely transform the rum’s personality.
That’s why we care about every barrel we choose.
