Dear friends,

We’ve been a bit quiet lately, and there’s a reason for that. This isn’t an easy message to write, but we want to be honest with you.

After a long period of high activity, many responsibilities, and a lot of work behind the scenes, the board has reached a point where we simply need to take a step back. Therefore, we’ve made the difficult decision to close Studenterhuset for the rest of the semester.

This has not been an easy decision at all. Studenterhuset means a lot to us, both as a place and as a community, and we know it does to many of you as well. That’s exactly why it’s necessary to pause now, so we don’t burn out completely, and so there’s a solid foundation to start again next semester.

It’s important for us to emphasize that the fitness facilities will remain open as usual. So if you use the gym, nothing will change for you.

At the same time, we want to open the door for new people to get involved. At the upcoming general assembly, there will be an opportunity to run for the board, and we truly hope some of you might consider taking on the role and helping carry Studenterhuset forward. It’s a special place that deserves continued energy and new ideas.

Because of the closure, we’ll be hosting a big clearance sale to sell off all the drinks we currently have in stock. So come by one last time for now, for the atmosphere and for some great deals.

We will be open on April 30 and May 1, May 7 and 8, with special opening hours on May 8 from 16:00. We will also be open May 14 and 15 during normal hours. We will be closed on May 21, and on May 22 we will open from 14:00, for the very last time.

Thank you for being part of what makes Studenterhuset what it is. We hope for your understanding, and we hope to see you again on the other side.
