Our staff association has arranged a little late-summer get-together at HM Systems, so we are ending the week with good food, bad jokes and a bit more time with the colleagues we usually only see between meetings, machines and coffee breaks.

And with Slagter Lampe practically within sight of our factory, and making sausages we know are worth putting on the grill, there was really no need to overcomplicate the sausage situation. 😉

One machine. Several orders. Same application.

Peppers, onions and other fresh vegetables may not have much in common when it comes to size and shape. But for Droptop’s customer in the Czech Republic, they all had one thing in common. The label needed to be applied to the bottom side of the vegetable pack. 🫑🧅🍅

That called for a labelling solution with enough flexibility to handle different pack sizes without making the application more complicated than necessary.

The HM600 became part of the answer.
And it wasn’t the last order.

From 12 August 2026, new requirements under the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, PPWR, apply.

Three and a half years ago, Jacob began his apprenticeship with HM Systems. In July, he completed his training and can now officially call himself a qualified Automation Technician.

Throughout his apprenticeship, Jacob has developed both professionally and personally, and we have come to know him as a skilled, dedicated and well liked colleague. He approaches new challenges with curiosity, a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.

We are also very pleased that Jacob will be staying with us as an Automation Technician for the coming months, until folk high school calls.

Congratulations on this well deserved achievement, Jacob. We are proud to have been part of your journey and look forward to having you with us for a little while longer. 👏
