The fourth trial in the UK for the ROBERT®, a robotic rehabilitation device for early upper and lower limb mobilisation, has commenced at the University of Strathclyde 🦾

The Sir Jules Thorn Centre for Co-Creation of Rehabilitation Technology within Biomedical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde will be using the ROBERT® for the next two months.

The ROBERT® will be used by people living with disability (movement, communication, and cognition) caused by stroke in an eight week, intensive rehabilitation programme.

This innovative robotic device will be used among other technologies in a group circuit programme. This unique programme is a multi-technology solution developed in the Technology Enriched Rehabilitation Gym.

Keld Thorsen, CEO at Life Science Robotics, said:

"This trial reflects a shared commitment to advancing evidence-based rehabilitation and integrating robotic-assisted therapy into intensive rehabilitation programmes that support optimal patient recovery.”

Delivering structured, high-intensity rehabilitation requires both clinical expertise and the right tools. 🦾

At Gold Coast University Hospital in Australia, we conducted a comprehensive ROBERT® training program with a new team of therapists, focusing on integrating high-repetition, task-specific therapy into daily clinical practice. 🇦🇺

A sincere thank you to the therapy team for the high level of clinical engagement and professionalism demonstrated throughout the training. 👏

We've successfully delivered a full ROBERT® training program in Malaysia, working alongside multiple teams of therapists. 🇲🇾

We sincerely thank each team for their high level of clinical engagement, professionalism, and commitment they brought to every session, with a strong focus on structured, goal-oriented rehabilitation. 👏

Each team is now well positioned to deliver high-intensity, repetitive therapy tailored to the needs of their individual patients. 🦾
