Over the past weeks in the Philippines, we’ve had the chance to meet the team, share stories, and see how the projects continue to grow. Being there and experiencing the impact in real time has been deeply moving. 🥰
And wow, visiting the new satellite office that opened in 2025 was one of our very special moments. ✨

🌊✨ Beloved Kids Beach Weekend!

This weekend we shared a really nice time with our Beloved kids at the beach! 💛

For over 10 years we’ve been walking with these amazing young hearts. Seeing these kids not just growing up, but pouring love back out — some now leading little Sunday groups and shining God’s light — fills us with immense gratitude.

🌿 Empowerment Camp at Balik Kaanyag, July 25 - 27, 2025 🌿

Three days of laughter, learning, and healing. ✨
Through Safe and Unsafe Touch sessions, therapeutic painting, balance training, baking, trust exercises, and evenings by the campfire — every moment became a step toward healing. 💛

Each activity was designed to awaken their senses, strengthen their confidence, and remind them that they are precious, capable, and deeply loved — by us, and by God. 🙏🏽

We know it’s been a bit quiet here — but behind the scenes, so much has been happening!
And we can’t wait to share more with you in the coming weeks!

On August 25, the amazing Balik Kaanyag team led a powerful Training of Trainers on Safe and Unsafe Touch and Online Safety at the Philippine Island Kids International Foundation Inc. (PIKIFI).

We’re so excited to see these new trainers take their knowledge back to their communities — and help build a safer future for kids and teens. 🌱

Today, Balik Kaanyag Inc. joined hands in the International Coastal Clean-Up Drive at the shores of Looc, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. In serving the vulnerable and caring for our environment, we stand for restored beauty—not just in nature, but in every life that is touched by compassion.

Our mission to heal, empower, and restore goes beyond therapy rooms; it walks the sandy shores, removes litter, renews hope. Every piece of trash removed is a message: that we believe in dignity—for our children, our land, and our future.

👏 Thank you to our team, volunteers, supporters, and every kind soul who rolled up sleeves to protect our coastline. Your service mirrors our vision at Balik Kaanyag: that every child from a hard place sees and lives out their God-given beauty, dignity, and purpose.
