Jazzmachine wurde 2002 vom Keyboarder und Produzenten Stefan Zaradic ins Leben gerufen.
Der Begriff Jazz im Namen der Band steht in seiner ursprünglichen Bedeutung für "Freiheit" und die Machine für den Groove.
