Ich habe mal jemanden gefragt, was er sich wünscht, wenn er das Bild sieht…

Die Antwort:

Ich wünsch mir, dass die Leute aufhören zu glauben, Natur macht das schon.

Macht sie nicht. Frieden auch nicht.

Licht geht einfach aus, wenn keiner aufpasst.
Es wächst nichts, nur weil man danebensteht und nett guckt.

Es bleibt nichts heil, nur weil man es sich wünscht.

So they hung doves in the sky
and raised two fingers,
as if peace could be declared—
with nature,
with themselves,
with those who come after us.

Beneath the hand, only what is allowed to grow will grow.
Roots press against their limits.
And what disturbs the picture
gets covered up.

Maybe blindness is no accident.
Maybe it is more convenient.

Not everything that blooms is free.
