It's almost December 1st, which means the 2023 Animated AR Advent Calendar is ready for launch! This year, I have partnered with to bring this exhibition to four different locations worldwide. We had the pleasure of working with nearly 50 artists who contributed their talents in illustration, animation, and sound design.

Starting from December 1st, a unique holiday door will be released daily on until December 25th. A big thank you to all of you for taking the time to help bring this project to life.

Poster design I created for earlier this year

This is the first product I designed this year for selling in my future online shop – a roller-skating octopus enamel pin.

I thought about making my own products for a long time but I never got serious about it and didn’t know where to start. In March my dear colleague and I challenged each other to come up with a postcard design. I drew this skating octopus and felt it would make a nice enamel pin.
Making my own products is harder than I thought. You’re your own client then and putting yourself in the perspective of a potential buyer. It helped me to try not to overthink and just get going with producing only a small quantity. I also took part in ' Illustrated Merchandise course last year which helped with those insecurities and strengthened my motivation!
