We offer books in English, French, Dutch and German. We have novels, poetry, thrillers and some non-fiction. You can find a choice selection at Eisenbahnstraße 107 in ‘Kultur Café Leipzig Ost.’ They are open Tuesday to Saturday from 16:00 – 22:00. I keep all other books at my place. I'll let you know later where you can find a list of available books. If the book you want is not at KCLO, contact me here or at [email protected] and I'll let you know when you can pick up at KCLO.

As you might have noticed, the International Library Leipzig project has come to an end. In the future you can find our collection (and many more books!) a few blocks away at Orinoco Books (Mariannenstr. 18) which will open soon.

In these hills, even the towers of oil wells
are a mere memory. Here Dicky fell,
four years older than me, like a father to me
in times of trouble and distress. Now I am older than him

The next Lesebühne will be on 13.5! The theme of the evening will be 'Danse Macabre.' There will be a reading in french and I will introduce 5 gothic novels.

Good news!
We are about to open the library at Kultur Café Leipzig Ost. We have English, French, Dutch and German books.
You can get library cards at KCLO real soon.
For now there will be FIVE cards and TEN cards.
The FIVE card lets you take out five books (one at a time) and costs € 5,00
The TEN card lets you take out ten books (one at a time) and costs € 9,00
Both cards come with a little notebook. With a full card you get a free espresso!
There are more books than are at display at KCLO (Eisenbahnstr. 107) Contact me and I'll send you a full list (still working on a way to put the list online.)
