Bittere Niederlage in Marienberg – jetzt voller Fokus aufs Pokal-Halbfinale! 💪

Am Samstagabend ging es für unsere zweite Frauenmannschaft zum Auswärtsspiel ins Erzgebirge zum HSV 1956 Marienberg . Ziel war klar: an die starke Leistung aus der Vorwoche anknüpfen und Marienberg gar nicht erst richtig ins Spiel kommen lassen. 💪

Die ersten 20 Minuten zeigten ein Spiel auf absoluter Augenhöhe. Beide Teams lieferten sich ein intensives Duell, in dem sich keine Mannschaft entscheidend absetzen konnte. Unsere Mädels hielten gut dagegen und setzten immer wieder Akzente im Angriff.
Doch danach verloren wir leider etwas den Zugriff auf das Spiel. Marienberg kam besser in die Partie und wir fanden offensiv zunehmend schwerer Lösungen.
Dazu kam, dass sich das Spiel phasenweise etwas schwierig gestaltete: Die Schiedsrichterlinie war nicht immer klar erkennbar. Während auf der einen Seite relativ kleinlich gepfiffen wurde, blieben auf der anderen Seite Schritte oder auch robustere Aktionen teilweise ungeahndet. Trotzdem gilt: Das darf und wird keine Ausrede sein. Solche Situationen gehören zum Handball – und wir müssen lernen, damit besser umzugehen.
Der entscheidende Punkt waren letztlich mehrere torlose Phasen, die sich wie ein roter Faden durch das Spiel zogen. Insgesamt viermal gelang es uns über mehrere Minuten nicht, den Ball im Tor unterzubringen. Auf diesem Niveau bricht einem das irgendwann das Genick.
Unser Spiel war insgesamt zu fehlerbehaftet, um Marienberg dauerhaft unter Druck zu setzen. Und so ist Handball manchmal: Man erwischt einen schlechten Tag – und lässt ein Spiel liegen. 🤾‍♀️
Im Hinspiel konnten wir noch mit fünf Toren gewinnen (37:32) – diesmal mussten wir uns mit fünf Toren geschlagen geben (30:25).

Jetzt heißt es: Spiel abhaken, Mund abputzen und nach vorne schauen.

Das Halbfinale im Landskron-Pokal in der Sporthalle Neuplanitz gegen die HSG Neudorf/Döbeln.
Dafür brauchen wir alle Kraft, volle Konzentration und das richtige Mindset, um den nächsten Schritt Richtung Finale zu gehen. 🔥
