Where MOSAIC was dominated by mythological vastness and folkloric darkness, Heilstatt is characterized by absolute reduction. Cool clarity. Mantric repetition. The lyrics are more immediate, more existential, permeated by the cracks of the turning point in history. Falkenstein holds up a mirror to humanity – without pathos, without escape – and in doing so processes deeply personal experiences between disillusionment, longing, and an inner desire for peace.

Musically, HEILSTATT moves in a field of tension between early post-punk, brittle trip-hop, classic gothic, and depressive punk attitude. Pulsating minimalism meets cold surfaces, stoic rhythms meet fragile melodies. The songs are urban nightscapes – completely otherworldly.
