Hergehört, das Schmerzgebirge geht in die zweite Runde!
Wie zur ersten Runde im vergangenen Dezember bieten wir euch drei deutsche Bands,
die uns (und euch) ordentlich den Gehörgang durchprügeln werden:
Nocturnal
Das mit Nieten gespickte Riffgeschoss aus Mainz spielt seit über einem Vierteljahrhundert Teutonic Black Thrash.
In dieser Zeit hat Daniel „Avenger“ Felber 4 Alben in die Welt gepresst – „Arrival of the Carnivore“ aus dem Jahr 2005 hat dabei einen gewissen Kultstatus erreicht.
Wer von S***m, Nifelheim oder Aura Noir nicht genug kriegt, ist an diesem Abend beim Schmerzgebirge genau richtig aufgehoben. Der Satanic Oath zieht endlich in die Braue ein und wir haben Bock auf Nocturnal!

Total Hate
Co**se Paint und aggressive, vor Punk nur so triefende, Riffs – ein altbekanntes Rezept.
Als zweite Band betritt das erste Urgestein deutscher Extrem-Metal-Kultur an diesem Abend die Bühne der Alten Brauerei Annaberg.
Total Hate aus Nürnberg spielen Black Metal der späten 80er und 90er Jahre und nehmen sich Inspiration an den großen Namen dieser Periode wie Darkthrone, Immortal oder Gorgoroth.

Warum zur Hölle sollte sich eine Band aus zwei sächsischen Metropolen nach einem kleinen Fluss im Vogtland benennen?
Wir werden die Antwort wohl nicht an diesem Abend erfahren, aber man darf gespannt sein was diese recht neu gegründete Death/ Thrash Combo bis auf das ein oder andere bekannte Szenegesicht noch so zu bieten hat.

WHERE THINGS STAND ⚔️

For 15 years we've carried Bathory's music to the stage as Blood Fire Death — A Tribute to Bathory. At the end of 2024, a second act appeared under our name. We reached out in good faith. They declined to acknowledge the conflict.

So, calmly and for the record: our name is a registered EU trademark, in continuous use since 2010. This was never about stopping anyone from honouring Quorthon — only about protecting the name we've performed, recorded and stood behind for over a decade.

We remain ready to talk and do not wish to escalate things further (but will do, if deemed necessary). It remains clear to us, that there is only one band to legally use the name "Blood Fire Death" - and that's us. Swipe for the full story.
