Remote tank level monitoring = more visibility, less guesswork 📡📦

Where is the tank?
How much product is left?
When is the next refill needed?
And is the content being stored and handled correctly? 🤔

With smart tank level monitoring, companies gain real-time transparency across tanks, sites, and customer locations 🧪✨

That means:
✅ live level visibility
✅ better replenishment planning
✅ fewer emergency deliveries
✅ improved supply chain control
✅ more efficient operations

For chemical companies, it’s not just about measuring level — it’s about creating a connected, automated inventory process 🚀

What does a lost IBC really cost?

Not just the container.
Much more.

A lost IBC means:

❌ replacement costs
❌ unnecessary new purchases
❌ time spent searching
❌ longer dwell times
❌ less supply chain transparency
❌ extra work for logistics, purchasing, and dispatching

In short:
A lost IBC costs money, time, and control.

With smart IBCs, “Where is the container?” becomes a question with a clear answer.
Location, fill level, movement, shock, and temperature are captured digitally — making container flows transparent across the supply chain.

This does not only reduce losses.
It also cuts administrative effort and makes processes more predictable.

When an IBC is lost, often more is gone than just packaging.

🚀 AI in the supply chain is no longer a future topic — it matters now.

Our new whitepaper shows how companies can move from reactive monitoring to intelligent, autonomous supply chain orchestration using IoT, Edge AI, and Agentic AI.

It is designed for supply chain managers, production leaders, digitalization teams, and quality professionals in industrial sectors — especially in the chemicals and process industries. The whitepaper explains how AI can help improve visibility, reduce disruptions, automate replenishment, and simplify compliance.

🔍 What the whitepaper gives you:

Spot blind spots in container logistics
Missing real-time data can lead to empty runs, overstocking, production risks, and unnecessary effort.

Understand Agentic AI in a practical way
AI agents connect sensor data, ERP systems, and external signals to suggest actions or even execute them automatically.

Explore concrete use cases, a roadmap, and ROI levers
Autonomous replenishment, predictive maintenance, and audit-ready chain-of-custody — plus real-world examples and measurable value.

💡 Why this matters today: companies that adopt AI in the supply chain now will be far better prepared for the increasing complexity ahead. We help you not just collect data, but turn it into real actions and smarter decisions — from predictive maintenance and audit-ready chain-of-custody to fully automated VMI and autonomous orchestration.

📄 The whitepaper is now available as a free download — check our website!

✨ If you could look into a glass globe, you’d see the future of supply chains.

The supply chain is at a turning point. 🚀

At Packwise, we already use different forms of AI today — from data-driven analysis to early autonomous decision-making. Our goal is not to build visions for the far future, but solutions that work in the real world. 🌍

With intelligent sensors and our platform, we connect physical assets with digital systems and create the basis for predictive, automated and future agentic processes. 🔗

That means containers become active data sources — and ultimately a real part of the decision-making process in the supply chain. 📦

AI is not just a trend for us. It is already part of the solution. And we have the tools to make it effective and useful in companies today. ⚙️

We build for reality, not castles in the air — and we have skin in the game. 💡

Our full blog article is now live on our website, and more insights will follow soon. 📖

Radar works best when it gets a strong signal.

That’s exactly where our AI-powered signal processing makes the difference. We’ve labelled millions of level measurements and trained machine learning models on them, allowing our algorithm to detect weak, noisy, or distorted echo signals that standard radar and ultrasonic systems can’t reliably evaluate.

The result: precise, stable data — and a clear advantage over other providers through robust hardware with smarter signal interpretation.

Radar is contactless, so it is not affected by color, pressure, temperature, or v***r, except in very dense gas layers. For low-permittivity media, radar offers clear advantages — especially with 80 GHz or guided wave radar. Ultrasonic can be more cost-effective, but it is also far more sensitive to v***r, foam, temperature, and surface conditions.

We recently attended the UNITI expo in Stuttgart, Europe’s leading trade fair for the fuel retail and carwash industry.

Although we joined as visitors this year, the event offered a great opportunity to connect with industry experts, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights into current developments and future trends. We had many inspiring conversations and made strong new contacts along the way.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with us.
Stay tuned - there is more to come.

Can this be measured?
Yes — and that is exactly what makes it interesting. ✨

With the Packwise Smart Cap, we rely on radar technology that performs reliably even under difficult conditions: with v***r, foam, condensation, or demanding media such as oil, diesel, or naphtha.

The benefit?
More reliability in daily operations.
More process safety.
Less uncertainty in the tank.

And if you want to dive deeper, you can find the full table with all details in our blog.

In short:
The Smart Cap brings smart measurement into real-world practice.

🚨 PPWR is coming — and it’s designed to reduce packaging waste, increase reuse, and make packaging flows more transparent and traceable.

Starting August 2026, the new EU regulation (PPWR) will make IBC tracking, traceability, and reusable systems mandatory.

What this means in practice:
👉 10-year documentation requirements
👉 Proven closed-loop systems
👉 Full digital traceability for every container
👉 Binding reuse quotas starting 2030

In short: spreadsheets won’t cut it anymore.

Chemical and logistics companies need to act now to stay compliant — and at the same time build more resilient and efficient supply chains.

💡 The upside: those who digitalize early gain a real competitive edge.

We’ve broken down the key requirements, deadlines, and action steps for you 👇

Two days, two trade fairs – and plenty of great conversations! 🚀

Over the past days, the Packwise team has been on the road – first at Chemspec Europe 2026 in Cologne and then continuing at interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf.

We joined both events as visitors and had the chance to connect with long-standing customers as well as many new contacts across the chemical and packaging industries. It was great to exchange ideas, discuss current challenges, and explore how supply chains are evolving.

A highlight was also seeing our Packwise Smart Cap live at the Greif booth at interpack – showcasing how real-time data can bring more transparency and intelligence to IBC container logistics.

Across both events, one thing became clear: the demand for greater transparency, efficiency, and sustainability continues to grow. By combining IoT data with AI-driven analytics, we support companies in making better decisions – from optimizing container cycles to enabling more predictive supply chain planning.

Missed us at Chemspec or interpack? No problem – feel free to reach out anytime. We’re always happy to connect and continue the conversation.
