Double Trouble 02 Where the void becomes the view.
We are excited to introduce a centerpiece from the new Double Trouble series, now part of the RAW REMAINS solo exhibition. This series was born from a moment of studio serendipity, an accidental overlap of cut-out posters that revealed a new way to look through the art.
The Anatomy of a Trinity In Double Trouble, the artwork isn’t just on the surface; it’s a studio interpretation of street action, where “nothingness” allows the history of the city to speak back:
The Double Layer: Two distinct posters, prepared with hand-cut voids, are layered over each other to create a complex, distorted composition.
The Icon: Features the deconstructed Mickey Mouse mask, a recurring silhouette in the show, now stripped of its hero status and turned into a window.
The Third Element: Instead of a street wall, the “fill” is a wooden panel saturated with color and texture. This surface is a heavy, tactile slab of studio-captured energy, bringing the grit of the outside world into a controlled, physical form.
From the Sidewalk to the Studio The name says it all. By doubling the posters, Perishable Rush doubles the tension between figuration and abstraction. This series mimics the “fantastic combinations” that happen when a poster is torn on the street to reveal the colorful chaos underneath. By recreating this process in the studio on wood, the artist fixes a temporary street moment into a permanent, raw relic.
In the spirit of RAW REMAINS, Double Trouble proves that what we remove is just as important as what we add.

DPM-15-AM-08
Own a geological slice of Amsterdam’s graffiti history.
This piece is part of the Disruptive Pattern Material series, a collection of abstract collages that treat the city’s accumulated graffiti history as a raw, physical material.
Decoding the Work
The title follows a strict “military code,” reflecting the structured chaos of the urban landscape:
DPM: Short for Disruptive Pattern Material.
15: The compact, high-impact size of 15x15 cm.
AM: The source city; Amsterdam.
08: The unique sequence number in this series.
Urban Camouflage
This isn’t just an abstract work; it’s a core sample of a city wall. Each fragment consists of graffiti paint layers that have built up over years, capturing the creative energy of countless artists in a single “paint chip.”
The color palette is entirely unique to the source wall in Amsterdam, a physical record of an era, solidified and preserved.
The exhibition RAW REMAINS Color Under Pressure, Images in Decay is still on display

Another piece of the urban puzzle has found its permanent home. Bad Bunny 11 is sold. This work is a standout from the series where Perishable Rush deconstructs global icons to create entirely new, distorted characters. It’s a collision of pop culture and the raw physical history of Amsterdam’s walls.
The Anatomy of a Character
In this piece, familiar symbols are stripped of their original meaning and fused into a “new hero” of the streets:
The Mashup: The iconic Pl***oy Bunny logo merges with Batman’s mask, finished with the sultry, recognizable lips from Andy Warhol’s legendary Velvet Underground & Nico cover.
The Material: This character is built from a vibrant explosion of graffiti paint chips and found wood.
The Origin: These specific paint layers were harvested from a wall on Java-eiland, Amsterdam. These are unique “geological” layers of the city. Super colorful, thick, and impossible to replicate.
Images in Decay
Part of the RAW REMAINS collection, Bad Bunny 11 represents the shift from recognition to noise. It’s a physical reminder of how images live, wear down, and acquire new meaning through the hands of the artist.

Layercake Queen-M 02
The city just found a new home.
We are thrilled to announce that Layercake Queen-M 02 has been sold during the RAW REMAINS solo exhibition. This piece perfectly captures the circular energy of the street, where decay meets creation and nothing is ever truly finished.
The Story Behind the Work
This isn’t just a collage; it’s a physical slice of the urban landscape:
The Foundation: A wooden backing crafted from tagged pallet wood found directly on the streets.
The History: Authentic street posters, torn from city walls, forming a weathered second layer.
The Icon: The top layer features a skull sculpture, originally built by Perishable Rush from fallen graffiti paint flakes, captured back onto a poster.
The Detail: Hand-sprayed, vibrant crown points that pop against the grit of the remains.
In the spirit of RAW REMAINS, these posters are designed to live both in the gallery and back on the streets. By using found materials and returning them to the urban environment, Perishable Rush ensures the cycle of the city stays unbroken.
