When we talk about Polynesian tattoos, we are talking about culture, ancestry, and responsibility. Tā moko is the Māori expression of this sacred art, carved to show who you are and where you come from. Learning these traditions makes me respect tattooing even more, because some designs are not meant to decorate the body, but to protect memory.
If you feel connected to this language and dream of a Polynesian inspired tattoo that tells your own story, send me a message and let’s create it together with the respect it deserves.
Peace out family!

Inspired by the anime Death Note
Death Note is not just an anime about a notebook that kills people. It is a story about power, ego, morality and the dangerously thin line between justice and tyranny. Light Yagami begins as a brilliant young man who believes he is saving the world, but with every decision he drifts further away from the very thing he claimed to protect. On the other side, L represents doubt, reflection and the awareness that no one should ever decide alone who deserves to live or die.
In the end, Death Note does not ask who is right. It asks how far you would go if you had the power to become a god.

Arkhano VI - The Lovers
I created this piece in 2020 and now a dear friend of mine in Bremen found one of my artworks while she was at the where she works. She recognized my signature and told me that two people had walked in dancing with the painting in their hands. They were quite drunk in the end up forget to eat there. I had not seen that piece in a long time. It had ended up on the street somehow since I no longer felt able to keep it on any wall near me, since it portrayed me and my ex. It seems the painting was searching for a new place to exist. Hearing that it found a new home with someone who was genuinely happy to have it made me feel unexpectedly at peace.
Moments like this remind me that art often transcends the artist. Once a piece leaves our hands, it begins a life of its own. It carries our memories, our emotions and our history, but it also becomes something independent. It finds new meanings through the eyes of others. It is a quiet way of learning that creation is not possession. What we make can outgrow us, heal us and eventually belong to the world more than to our past.

What an amazing weekend at the 6th Höxter Tattoo Convention. I’m so proud to have won second place in the Best of Small category. I received so many kind words and compliments for this piece, and that means a lot to me. But what truly matters most is that my client is happy and proud to wear this tattoo.
This back tattoo is still a work in progress, but it already tells a powerful story. The cranes represent grace, longevity, and spiritual growth — symbols of resilience and renewal. Inside the circle, the koi fish form a yin and yang, a reminder of balance and the harmony between opposing forces. And the delicate dragonfly carries a deeply personal meaning for my client, symbolizing a child she lost, forever present in her heart.
Art in progress, filled with emotion and symbolism.

Since ancient times, the rabbit has appeared in myths as a messenger between worlds, a symbol of rebirth and mystery. In some cultures, it guards the Moon. In others, it is a clever spirit that cheats death and returns, faster and wiser each time.
They say that when a rabbit crosses your path, change is near a reminder that cycles never end they only transform.
The rabbit is not just a fragile, silent creature. It is the reflection of instinct, fertility, and life itself, always reborn after the longest winter.

In Afro-Brazilian tradition, the People of Calunga walk between worlds spirits who guard the mysteries of life, death, and transformation.
Seu Caveira opens the gates of transformation, reminding us that every death is also a rebirth.
Seu Tranca Rua stands as the keeper of crossroads, protecting those who walk with purpose.
Maria Mulambo, lady of the forgotten and the free, teaches beauty through resilience and power through humility.
To honor them is to embrace the sacred balance between light and shadow, loss and rebirth.
At the crossroads between the living and the ancestral world dwells the mystery of the People of Calunga. Guardians of the threshold, messengers of the night, spirits who know the paths of time and destiny.
Between candles, smoke, and silence, Calunga speaks and those who know how to listen understand that there is no end there, only passage.

She came to me wanting to give her tattoo a new meaning. Something darker, deeper, something that truly spoke to her soul.
I love when clients trust me with transformations like this, because tattoos are not just about ink on skin they’re about connection, reflection, and identity.
In the end, we found that perfect balance. The darkness she wanted, the harmony I aimed for, and that beautiful moment when she looked in the mirror and said, this feels like me now.
Trust your instincts. Your body, your art, your story they should always feel like you.
