In 2021, we asked Karl a simple question:
what is actually “verboten” at Klub Verboten?
Five years later, the answer has become much bigger than one party.
🫐 Kink has travelled from damp basements into fashion, pop culture and the mainstream.
That brought visibility.
It also brought a flood of aesthetics without knowledge, people without context and platforms that are happy to sell desire but quick to erase the people teaching consent, care and s*xual self-determination.
Meanwhile, the culture itself has had to grow up.
🍍 After Covid, a whole generation arrived at once. The old rhythms of learning from the people around you were disrupted. Safeguarding became more than a word on a website. It became the work of stepping in before something becomes harm.
🌶 Karl talks about a “culture wipe-out.”
About censorship that removes q***r, feminist and educational kink content while misogynist manosphere content keeps circulating. And about why kink communities need something more durable than one rented basement every few months.
🍩 Klub Verboten is now building new rooms for what comes next: a sober members’ club in London, STÜCK, ROSA in Berlin and formats that refuse the old idea that kink must always be dark, hidden or male-coded.
The question is no longer only what is forbidden.
It is what kind of culture we want to protect.

We are living in a state of permanent low-grade emergency. Always busy, always rushing, always full of things we haven't processed
Marie Sauvage has spent nine years working with rope, and what she's learned isn't about aesthetics first. It's about coming back into your own body.
"When you get tied, you really drop," she says. "Something really touches you in a visceral way."
On July 17, she brings that practice to Berlin for one evening: performance, music, and human connection at Kühlhaus, Kreuzberg.

She studied medicine. She worked in a str!p club. She guided men through their darkest moments. None of these sentences explains her. Together, they come close.
Meet Cleo, The Ta***ic Muse: educator, somatic coach, performer, and one of the most quietly radical voices in Berlin's intimacy scene.
She doesn't teach technique. She teaches presence. She doesn't offer escape. She brings you back to yourself.
In our new portrait, Cleo talks about the str!p club she calls a modern-day temple, and the men who paid for her time just to talk.
This is a story about eros as a life force. About the Madonna-wh0r3 split that damages everyone. About what it means to be truly in your body.
And about a vision that starts in a room in Berlin and doesn't stop there.

Before a session with , you must do something most people find harder than the session itself.
Answer deeply personal questions.
Not a form. A list written fresh, just for you. Every single time.
Because Ron doesn't ask what you want. Ron asks why.
Ron Hades is a Berlin-based artist. The title says it all: Fantasy & Desire Architect.

P**n or art is the wrong question. We sat down with — filmmaker, founder of — and talked about s*x as experience, not image. About refusing to make things easy. About what it means to turn your body into a decade of work.

"Soft is not weak. Soft is present. Something that touches without dissolving." — Robyn
This is Robyn. Pole dancer. Performer. Artivist.
Robyn doesn't do activism on the street. Robyn does it on stage — with their body, with their art, with their refusal to be categorized.
"My task in life is to confuse people. Maybe we just need to blow up these categories a bit."
From competitive gymnastics that taught control to pole dance that taught love. From the illusion of liberated s*x to actual s*xual self-determination.
"Bitch, I'm Soft" — Robyn's manifesto on pole dance, s*x work, patriarchy in q***r spaces, and why softness is resistance.
