Platform-Berlin is a mobile installation project on Berlin's U-Bahn platforms. Annual ridership on Berlin's U-Bahns in 2012 was 507 million people!

WHAT: We exhibit art in unused spaces on Berlin’s U-Bahn platforms—for people who otherwise would not likely see it. WHY: We intend to spark an impulse in passerbys—to affect their physical path of movement, their routine, their thought process. People are impressionable when approached through their senses and art has the unique ability to shape an experience through engagement. Showing art there

Thank you thank you thank you all! Over 640 people voted for Platform-Berlin and we won the the Quartiermeister funding this quarter! It was a fun, wild ride - reconnecting with old friends and getting our little project on the U-Bahn out into the collective conscience of so many people far and wide! We are feeling electric. And we are gonna have a great installations and opening(s) with this well earned cash for Avenir Institute and others to come. Love to all!
