Gitarrenbau Linscheid

My new guitar is now available at Siccas Guitars . It comes with a beautiful lightweight spruce top and Madagascar back and sides. It has been a while since I made a Madagascar guitar and it was great fun to work with this lovly material. The guitar has a one sided elevated fingerboard and is equipped with Scheller Gitarrenmechaniken

I am very happy that my new maple guitar was chosen by the great Hubert Kaeppel. Thank you Hubert, for beeing encouraging and appreciative of my work since we met quite some time ago now! I am especially happy that you chose this guitar for I love to work with maple and it's special design was great fun to make. Thanks to dai for taking the picture of Hubert in front of the rhododendron hedge in full bloom.

This is last years last guitar and my second edition of my new cedar Design. I really love to make these little carved details. I wanted this one to be a little more floral than on th first. This guitar has indian rosewood back and sides that offer a bit more contrast to the Honduras binding. The guitar is setup with custom engraved Scheller Gitarrenmechaniken. It became a bit of rush towards the end for I had to ship it to Uk. It just slipped in before the borders closed and arrived in time with my customer.

I wanted to challange myself to try something different, so I tried to find a new approach to my modern design. I had not made a cedar guitar for a very long while, and I had never worked with Cocobolo before. It was a lot of fun! Starting from designing it to carving the datails to working with this incredible wood, I enjoyed it a lot. I am also very happy with how the guitar turned out. It will be on display on Koblenz International Guitar Festival on Wednesday until Friday morning. I am very glad it takes place despite the problematic situation. I am looking foreward to hearing music and meeting people (at distance)

My new guitar arrived at the London guitar Studio today and is now ready to be tried and played there!

Last Saturday Luisa Marie Darvish Ghane came to pick up her new Linscheid guitar that she chose on the Hamburger Gitarrentage / Gitarrenfestival. I am very happy to have such an outstanding young guitarist play my guitar! Adrian Heinzelmann and me had great time with her and Milad Darvish Ghane. Thanks to Luisa for playing this beautiful piece by Paganini and many thanks to Adrian Heinzelmann for working on the Video!
