Form Oracle
Form Oracle is a blog that includes music, pros, poetry, and photos.
The primary message is how to recognize and question constructs that we generally regard as proven reality, so that we can move away from the systems of thought that trap us.

The Window
I wrote this short piece considering self and identity in the context of the All. One view of a thing simultaneously finite and infinite, looking out from within, and in from without, as I struggle to understand some aspect of a thing that I am. A thing that is well beyond me. I hope it benefits you to watch my process as I try to observe and experience.
The Window - Form Oracle I’m sitting in my chair looking out the window. I’m not particularly sure why. It’s dark outside, and there’s not really much to see. I’m more resting my eyes upon the absence to afford me a glimpse into my thought. Into myself. What am I? All things are the liminality of something else. E...

I'm starting a new series on Emotional Interpretation and Strategic Decision Making. This is the first chapter of the series, summarizing how colonial epistemologies have negatively impacted our ability to interact with our emotions in an informed and beneficial way. Over the course of the series I will go into great detail about what emotions are, what they aren't, and how to acknowledge them and interact with them to your greatest benefit. I will break down the messaging of specific emotions that people are familiar with, confront cultural trends that teach us to feel shame for our emotions or dismiss them as if they were not relevant. Emotions are wonderful friends, but terrible masters, and they are actually more likely to become your master if you don't commune with them in a functional, accepting, and honoring way. I hope you enjoy this series. There will be a new chapter each week for several months.
Reassessing the Role of Emotions in this Postcolonial Hellhole - Form Oracle In this chapter I will be discussing what emotions are, what they are not, why they are important, and how they can serve us. This will include taking a look at common misconceptions. Inaccurate cultural messaging. A description of some different ways they can be experienced. Some of the common mist...

Existing systems fight hard to synthetically produce limitations and make them appear to be the natural order. To funnel us in the direction that will be most advantageous to those who treat us, our hearts, our minds, and our bodies, as points of extraction. just as they do the rest of the planet. A thing to be mined for resources. And we suffer under this pressure, often blaming ourselves for the outcome and torment of it, because of the illusion of naturalization that veils the reality of the systemic crimes being committed against the masses.
My work revolves around the concept and process of counter-indoctrination. How to find those things that we have been subconsciously programmed to inaccurately assume are part of the natural order, Identify them. Question them. And in so doing begin to break down what the system actually is and what options we actually have.
Some constraints are tangible. Food. Water. Money. Housing. Health. But there are also options. Many of the constraints, that protect the power structure’s vice grip on those more practical resources, are encoded in the mind, a fictitious prison whose only power is that we believe in them.
To change belief requires identifying belief, altering decision making processes, and Intentionally manufacturing experiences that will counter the subconscious doctrine upholding their grip on your future.
A song about the gifted struggle. Life on the statistical fringes.
"I could speak, but I don't speak. Every word hits the ground like the sound never left my mouth. I could scream, but I won't scream, here in the vacuum of space. In these wasted badlands."

When we oversimplify spirituality for a convenient or neatly packaged answer to life's problems, we end up with a spirituality that can't challenge our maladaptive systems in a productive way.

There are no negative emotions. Emotions are your body trying to tell you something about how you are doing. I'm sorry that it hurts. Don't quiet yourself. Your anger is trying to save your life.
Holy Light - Form Oracle I am the fire that wakesThe sleeping beastIn the dead of nightWhen the justice fails I am the quaking that marksWhen the change must comeOr the house will fallOn the children I am the inner screamTo remind the smallOf the power they’veForgotten I am the remnant of hopeThat cracks the sealsOf the v...

Epistemological Relativism. Please read.
The Pepsi Question - Form Oracle I was once at a close friend’s house. He was an atheist, but used to be a christian. I was agnostic, but used to be christian. We were sitting in his living room, where we both spent a strong majority of our time, and casually he said, “what do you think about god?” I put […]
