Hi friends,

on the occasion of Gallery Weekend, we’ll be open this Sunday, May 3rd, from 11:00 to 18:30 ✨

Tomorrow, May 1st, we’ll be closed.

Come by and say hello — you’ll also get to see sculptural vases… truly worth it!

We meet again and it’s Spring.
The days grow longer, flowers bloom, and so do smiles.
Nature transforms, and transforms us too.

brings us into its world with the new scarf, the second piece of four-part seasonal collection, following the Winter release.

For children, for adults, for everyone.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and a little winter hibernation.

It’s that time of year again.
We like to think of Amodo as a place where you can enjoy the quiet pleasure of choosing gifts for the people you love.

Every day, we do our best to offer a warm and peaceful atmosphere, along with a selection of carefully chosen objects: pieces made to last, to tell stories and values you can connect with, to bring joy.

We can’t wait to help you find what you’re looking for—also through our online shop.
Thank you, as always, for your support!

.minio.minio blankets are among the products that represent the core of Amodo. Their design, production process, and the intention behind the project perfectly reflect the kind of story I want to highlight in my shop: the language of care and meaning that I want to communicate.

Minio is the project of Beatrice, an Italian illustrator and graphic designer with a deep passion for textiles, weavings, and the tactile world of materials. The brand was born from the idea of creating illustrated textiles for the home and everyday life, with a particular focus on sustainability and Made in Italy production.

All fabrics and yarns used are natural. Beatrice is committed to personally knowing each production partner she collaborates with, ensuring that environmental standards are respected and that the rights and well-being of the people involved are upheld. Each blanket is therefore not only a beautiful and functional object, but also the result of genuine relationships and a conscious, thoughtful production process.

I love them!

I’ve said it often, and I’ve shared it with you many times: one of the most rewarding aspects of this work is the chance to meet incredibly inspiring people I might never have encountered otherwise. People who often carry a vision, values, and horizons I deeply relate to, and who create objects that hold more than just commercial or consumerist value.

Karvishi is an Indian designer who founded her brand .official in 2022 with the aim of destigmatizing the concept of “Made in India.” Her project is rooted in sustainability, fairness, and craftsmanship.

We’re happy to have Esoraa’s creations in our selection and can’t wait for you to discover and appreciate them as well — visit us in store or online!

It’s September, here in Berlin work and school have started again, before that I was lucky enough to spend three weeks in Italy, surrounded by loved ones, in beloved places.
It’s wonderful to be back, to be here, to be back at Amodo.
Sorry if you came by yesterday and found the shop closed a little early. September is also the month for finding a balance between family, work and the unexpected. I know you know that.
I like you, September. You’re the month that invites me to slow down as my schedule picks up again. Maybe that’s the secret?

Today’s essentials,
When Berlin feels stuck between the beginning and the end of summer…

Today Golshid came to visit me at Amodo, bringing some of her new ceramic creations.
Her visit wasn’t just a chance to restock her cups, but a moment to talk about what we call home, what it means to live in Berlin, and how this present moment is touching us.
As she said goodbye, she gave me a box of dates she brought back from her last trip home, to Iran.

I’m deeply grateful for such a symbolic and meaningful gift.
Grateful for the work I do, and for the city I live in.
Grateful for the chance to meet people who share stories, identities, and complexity with me.

It’s never just about objects or things.

The first time I bought an keychain was even before opening Amodo.
Today, to celebrate my 15 years in Berlin, I’ve finally decided to add these iconic accessories to our collection.

Colorful, playful, and unmistakable — perfect for adding a touch of style to your keyring or your bag.
Come by the shop to discover all the available colors — as always, in limited quantities!
