The wait is over. The next chapter begins. ๐Ÿ

Last week, we unveiled the FT26 โ€” more than just a race car.
Itโ€™s the result of countless hours, late nights, hard decisions, setbacks, breakthroughs, and a team that refused to settle.

Every bolt, every design choice, every sleepless night brought us to this moment.

This rollout was not only about revealing a car โ€” it was about celebrating the people behind it.

To our sponsors: thank you for believing in our vision and making this project possible. Your support drives innovation and pushes us to aim higher every season.

To our families and friends: thank you for standing beside us through every stressful phase, every missed weekend, and every long night in the workshop.

And to our team: this is what passion, resilience, and relentless dedication look like. You turned ambition into reality.

But this is only the beginning.

The rollout is over.
The countdown to race season has begun.

See you on track, FT26. ๐ŸŽ๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Over the past two weeks, the team at FaSTTUBe has been making strong progress across all departments as rollout and testing preparations ramp up.

Operations focused on everything rollout-related, from event planning and graphic design to teaser video editing and finalizing the business plan. At the same time, the Cost Report team has been hustling to finalize and upload all required documents ahead of next weekโ€™s deadline.

Driverless continued preparing the FT26 for its first autonomous tests, completing and testing the RES wiring, advancing the Emergency Brake System, and finalizing LiDAR and camera calibration.

Electronics carried out successful first tests, optimized the control unit and BMS software, and integrated additional sensors into the wiring harness.

Suspension completed everything needed for driving the vehicle, including wheel alignment and preflight checks, and successfully drove the car during the recent testing day. The gearbox is now being broken in while preparations for full-power testing continue, with both cooling systems assembled for upcoming tests.

The H2 department mated the engine and gearbox, completed the chassis, and received the fuel tank โ€” another big step forward for the powertrain.

Meanwhile, Aero and the workshop are focused on rollout preparations, assembling and finalizing components while receiving key manufacturing parts needed to complete the aero package. ๐ŸŽ๏ธ

Over the past two weeks, the team has made major progress across all departments as the FT26 continues to come together in the workshop.๐Ÿ”ฅ

In Aero, the team entered the final phase of mold manufacturing and has been laminating components daily. The undertray skins are currently in production, while preparations for the wing inner structures are underway. Manufacturing of the side wings, tire wings, and sidepods is also progressing at full speed.

The Driverless department continued advancing the FT25 by assembling the Emergency Brake System and improving the simulation environment for Driving Decision parameter tuning.

Electronics achieved an exciting milestone by turning the FT26 motors for the very first time. Alongside this, the team worked on finalizing the wiring harness and preparing all systems for the carโ€™s first drive.

Suspension also celebrated several key achievements. The hardened gears arrived back at the workshop, enabling the team to assemble all four gearboxes and spin them for the first time. The car is now standing and rolling on its own four wheels, while the first brake caliper has also been assembled and mounted onto the car.

We also want to give a warm welcome to all new members who recently joined the team and are already contributing to the FT26 project. Itโ€™s great to see new faces getting involved and helping push the car forward.๐Ÿ•บ

A weekend full of racing in Berlin๐ŸŽ๏ธ

We had the opportunity to showcase one of our cars at the Formula E track at Tempelhofer Feld. Some of our team members were invited to the Girls on Track program, where they shared their experiences and helped inspire the next generation of women in motorsport. We also had the pleasure of hosting visiting teams at our workshop.๐Ÿ™Œ

During our statics weekend, we also continued our preparation for the engineering design event with a second practice run. We switched our judges to give our members the chance to prepare for different judging styles and focus areas.๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ”Ž
