It’s getting harder and harder for us artists to reach even our own followers on socials, and I enjoy the more in-depth nature of the newsletter, it suits BERGMAN as a bridge between ideas, activism, and art. I really put time and care into the mails, and I just love the newsletter community we’ve built over the years, some 3000 strong now 💪.

There is an English and a German version, so hopefully one of those works for many of you.

How’s everyone doing? What a time! 🤯😓

Things that are keeping me positive:
1. The sun started shining in Berlin (game changer!)
2. Academic research polls clearly show that awareness of climate change and support for climate policies is growing substantially worldwide (see Pew Research Center or Yale Program on Climate Change Communication for examples!)
3.The spring flowers in my getaway garden - scroll to see their perfect little faces turned to the sun.
4. I’m writing, writing, writing - new music and research on its way.
4. I’ll be honest - binging the new Bridgerton didn’t hurt either 🙈

I really appreciate everyone who’s streaming and sharing the song. There’s no help coming from editorial playlists and every listen is a statement - for human made, hand made music that dares to be different! Let’s rewrite the algorithm to appreciate originality 🌱

Pier was an endless source of creative ideas and quality technical supervision for the production of Mountain. We’ve made music together for a long time, and taking the step to become co-producers has been so fun and mutually inspiring.

It’s not often you find someone with drum chops, technical know-how, near perfect pitch and such a holistic sense of musicality. The only draw back is he makes you laugh too much during takes 😂.

I would recommend any artist out there to work with Pier, either as a drummer or a producer - your music will be better for it!

Thank you my friend for sharing your talent with me, dressing up like Marie Antoinette’s gardener, carrying guitar amps up many stairs, and most importantly - being the best friend a girl could wish for! Luv u!!!
