3 Controversial Opinions On Muscle Definition 99% Of The World Agrees With—But I Do Not

I've been involved in fitness for a long time.

Over the past 10 years, I've seen a lot of opinions about getting more muscle definition that I initially agreed with, then disagreed upon further education.

Here is my controversial take after 50,000 hours in this field:

1. "You need elite genetics to get ripped." I'm not saying genetics don't matter. I'm just saying dedication and smart strategy play a bigger role.

2. "Lifting heavy is the only way to tone." This helps, but ignoring diet, skipping cardio, and not sleeping shouldn't happen or you're on a fast track to burnout, not definition.

3. "Most people" rely on quick fixes. I disagree. I think people who seek solutions are willing to put in the work, but they aren't getting the right information and they aren't personalizing their journey.

It's time to change that.
