One Small World. I didn’t expect to find a piece of Cape Town hidden inside Berlin… until I ended up at a Michelin-star restaurant tucked down a back alley.

Cookies Cream () feels like one of those Cape Town spots you only discover through friends, a little mysterious on the outside, full of warmth and creativity on the inside. A hidden door, a bell, a bar downstairs… and then suddenly you’re upstairs tasting dishes that are playful, refined, and surprisingly nostalgic.

But what really reminded me of home wasn’t just the restaurant; it was Berlin’s entire food scene.
Kebabs at midnight, bratwurst at the markets, Italian pasta made in front of you, curries rich with spice, street food from every corner of the world… It’s the same multicultural energy that makes Cape Town’s food culture so special.

Exploring it all with and made it even better, three creators from three continents sharing flavours that somehow feel familiar in a completely new city.
Berlin really does bring the world together, one meal at a time.

Which bite feels the most Cape Town to you? 👀

One Small World. I didn’t expect to find a piece of Cape Town hidden inside Berlin… until the city lit up after dark.

There’s something about Berlin at night, the early sunset, the street musicians, the rush of the U-Bahn, the way people fill the streets, that reminded me of the energy back home.
And then we ended up in a jazz club.

Live music has a way of dissolving borders, and for a moment it felt like Cape Town’s creative soul had followed me across continents. Different city, different winter, same heartbeat.
Even the Christmas markets brought a strange sense of home crowds gathered around open fires, food sizzling, people sharing moments. In South Africa, we call that a braai… and anything around a fire always feels familiar.

Exploring Berlin with and made it even better three creators from three cities, all seeing their hometowns reflected in unexpected places.
Nightlife here is completely its own thing… yet somehow, I kept spotting little pieces of Cape Town along the way.
Do you see them too? 👀

I didn’t expect to find a piece of Cape Town hidden inside Berlin… until I walked along the East Side Gallery.

There’s something powerful about a wall once built to divide becoming a canvas for freedom, creativity, and stories… the same energy I feel every time I walk through Woodstock or Khayelitsha back home.

Art has a way of turning history into hope, and Berlin wears that transformation proudly.

Exploring the city with and made it even better, three creators from three different continents, all finding unexpected pieces of home in the same place.
Berlin really does bring the world together, one mural at a time.

Can you spot the Cape Town energy too? 👀

My best friend, my first friend, my brother.
God gave me the greatest gift in choosing you as my brother.
Love you always, Gray.

Trading late nights for early mornings. No drinking, daily training, more reading, and keeping Jesus Christ at the centre. Boxing isn’t just fitness anymore, it’s become a lifestyle I’m grateful for 🙏🥊 Love my boxing family at

This guy locked eyes with me like he knew he was the main character.

One of my favourite zebra shots—he just stood there, completely still, while the rest of the herd blurred into the background. There’s something about zebras… they’re quietly confident. Effortlessly cool.

Their stripes aren’t just for show. They help with camouflage, throw off predators, and even keep the bugs away (which I honestly wish worked for humans). And the wild part? No two zebras have the same pattern—each one’s totally unique.

Nature knows what it’s doing. And this one knew exactly where the camera was.

Cheetahs have always fascinated me, especially the females. Built for speed and agility, they are nature’s ultimate sprinters—but that comes at a cost. Unlike lions, hyenas, or wild dogs that rely on strength in numbers, cheetahs are often vulnerable, especially when raising cubs. It’s incredible to think that a mother can single-handedly hunt, protect, and feed her young—truly the ultimate single mom.

This cheetah was minding her own business on the open grass plains when a dazzle of zebras walked toward her, calling her out. Unbothered, she moved to a termite mound to get a better view of her surroundings. I was lucky enough to capture this moment—an iconic shot of her surveying the vast Delta. Just minutes later, a pack of wild dogs made a kill (you can see it in another photo in my gallery) and then chased her off. Life on the open plains is fast, unpredictable, and unforgiving—but for a cheetah, it’s home.

Couldn’t decide which edit I liked - so here is all of them. The say black and white captures the soul of the image. I think I’m gonna put this one on my wall. Which is your favourite?
