For this Season we have something special coming for you. After a decade Yohji Yamamoto Homme is hosting an Event and this time in Berlin at GATE194 - our Backyard.

We are inviting you to join our great journey with Yohji Yamamoto. Join us on the 26th of October at our Backyard to celebrate the launch of the AW23 Collection together with the Yohji Yamamoto team. We are inviting you to our open bar, catering and a beautiful Showroom-Installation by Yohji Yamamoto.

The AW2023 collection is inspired by traditional patterns and fabrics from Central Asia and beyond. A melting pot of civilizations and languages, a cultural wealth in a sartorial reinterpretation through a delicate mix, layering colorful patterns and finishes. The combinations of motifs with warm tones echoing in the shadows seem to have been created by accident, as if wandering travelers freely layered clothes they found on their journeys.

Clad in richly expressive handmade clothing that look as if they had been worn for many years, the travelers walked slowly down the runway to the music created by designer Yohji Yamamoto.

The nomads’ references are merged with a variety of originally produced fabrics such as a double-faced fabric printed twice with different Ikat motifs appearing on jackets, trousers, and coats illustrating the cross alliances between different cultures. The first Look exemplifies the cultural mix caused across borders.
