2010 yılında New York'da, internetde dorkbot mail grubunda tesadüfen tanıştığım bir enstrüman yapımcısı sayesinde keşfettiğim SHARE, dünyada audio-visual jamlar düzenleyen birbirinden bağımsız, fakat internet üzerinden birbirini destekleyen bir oluşum.

2011 yılında Bilgi Üniversitesi müzik bölümünde bir ders içinde başlayan Share Session'ları (http://nwmcistanbul.tumblr.com/) bu sene asıl yeri olan şehrin içine çıkıyor. Müzisyenlerin rahatça gelip çalabildikleri, doğaçlama olarak gerçekleşen ve yeni fikirlere açık performansların genelde bir konuğu oluyor. Biz şehrin içine çıkmış ilk Share'e Londra'dan Illi Adato'yu konuk edeceğiz.

Share İstanbul'un acil toplanma sebebi olan Illi ve bize yer sağlayan Kooperatife, müziğe sebep olacakları için teşekkür ederiz.

At 2010 i met an instrument builder via dorkbot mail list, who informed me about SHARE sessions in New York so that i could perform in one of them. After i performed there and came back to Istanbul, I started Share sessions in a class at Bilgi University Music department (http://nwmcistanbul.tumblr.com/).

SHARE is a regular open jam which takes place in various cities around the world. Its energy is driven by the spontaneity of free improvised music. At the end of the year Istanbul Share started its action in the city at Kooperatif Istanbul and Illi Adato will be our first guest at the center of the city.
