The new EP “Touch Me” by Frag Maddin & ROTSCH was conceived as a raw homage to the origins of Jacking House. In late-night studio sessions, the duo dug deep into the Chicago basement spirit that first ignited the global House movement, stripping the sound back to its essentials while recharging it with modern club energy.

But “Touch Me” is more than just a nod to tradition. In an era dominated by AI, algorithms, and polished productions, the EP is a reminder of the power of human connection. Frag Maddin & ROTSCH deliberately went for something primal and physical, music that doesn’t just move the ears but touches the body.

For Frag Maddin & ROTSCH, House music is more than entertainment , it’s ritual. “Touch Me” was designed as a trigger for that collective experience, a moment where strangers on the floor become a community, moving in sync. It’s a track that connects past and future, human and machine, body and soul.

Mit der neuen Single „XANI“ liefert Frag Maddin und Feature-Gast Taotech einen wuchtigen Kommentar zum Zeitgeist der Club- und Popkultur. Angetrieben von einer kompromisslosen Gabba-Kick, technoider Härte und düsterer Direktheit, setzt der Track auf klangliche Reizüberflutung und kritisiert dabei genau das, was derzeit oft unreflektiert gefeiert wird -> die Verherrlichung von Pharmazeutika, vor allem Benzodiazepinen, als Lifestyle-Accessoire.

Der stumpfe, bewusst plakative Text entlarvt die Leere hinter dem vermeintlichen Glamour, verweigert sich jeder Romantisierung und stellt die Frage -> Wie viel kostet ein Rausch wirklich?

Entstanden ist „XANI“ auch aus persönlichem Schmerz. Der tragische Verlust von Freund:innen durch Mischkonsum war Auslöser und Antrieb, ein Zeichen zu setzen für Bewusstsein, für Verantwortung, für einen Bruch mit toxischen Erfolgsrezepten.

„XANI“ ist mehr als ein Track. Es ist ein akustischer Warnruf mit der Wucht eines Vorschlaghammers.
