CfA: The Max Weber Foundation’s Research Centre Ukraine and the Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften invite applications for the German-Ukrainian Fellowship Programme for Humanities and Social Sciences Scholars 2025/26.

The Programme is designed for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the humanities and social sciences affiliated with research institutions in either Germany or Ukraine, whose work focuses on East-Central Europe and/or German-Ukrainian history.

The fellowship provides funding for individual archival and library research in Ukraine or Germany, as well as for residencies dedicated to advancing a research project or undertaking intensive manuscript preparation, for a duration of up to six months.

28 жовтня у Мармуровій залі Чернівецького національного університету імені Юрія Федьковича відбудеться подія, яка знаменує відкриття третього навчального року Віртуального інституту України для поглиблених досліджень (www.vuias.org).

Запуск нової групи стипендіатів буде відзначено у Чернівецькому національному університеті імені Юрія Федьковича. Заснований у 2023 році при Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin у співпраці з партнерськими установами з України, Європи та США, інститут підтримує українських науковців як у країні, так і за кордоном. Його місія полягає у протидії масовому відтоку інтелектуальних кадрів, спричиненому повномасштабним вторгненням росії. Довгостроковою метою ініціативи є створення нового Інституту перспективних досліджень у Києві.
