In unserer Produktgeschichte finden sich auch ein paar Exoten, wie das C06 Recording System, mit dessen Hilfe sich die Dynamik von 20 Bit verlustfrei auf 16 Bit DAT-Cassetten oder anderen Medien unterbringen lies. Eines dieser Geräte wurde uns nun wieder überreicht, nachdem es viele Jahre gute Dienste leisten konnte, als die Digitaltechnik noch jung war. Es wird nun in unser Archiv und Museum übernommen. Vielen Dank an Flower Records für die Gerätespende!

Unser Kunde berichtete uns dazu folgendes: "Das Gerät wurde von meinem Kollegen [...] in den 90er Jahren für die Restaurierung des Melodia Russland Archivs im Auftrag der BMG genutzt. Die Original-Masterbänder wurden in Moskau mit Hilfe des c06 in 20Bit auf Dat-Kassetten überspielt und dann in Hennigsdorf mit einem zweiten Gerät auf ein Sonic Solutions System übertragen, dort restauriert und remastert."
