The intensive analysis of the village, as well as the discussion of climatic, sociological and economic parameters in the beginning brought me to the conclusion that Tenki village needs economic incentives and an adaptation of the local-historical with the modern way of construction in order to revitalize the village. The proposal of a contemporary hotel in the village center that suits the rest of the local architecture is supposed to create these incentives. It can be understood as an initial spark to encourage the development and reconstruction of the village. More comfort and the consideration of the local culture and way of living (heritage hotel) lead to high-value tourism. The merge of tourism and private use within one single building enhances the quality of life of the locals and strengthens the village structure.

Instead of a classic hotel building, usage areas Zentral will be housed in different parts of buildings distributed throughout the village. The concept is oriented towards the so-called “albergo diffuso” (ital. “dispersed hotel”), developed in the 1980s by Giancarlo Dall’Ara in Italy, which had as its goal the revitalization of villages and
old towns. It proposes that the opportunity to experience village life from nearby areas should
be offered to the guest. All of the areas of the hotel (such as the rooms, the breakfast dining hall, etc.) are distributed throughout the village, and only the reception center is located in a central building. Through this strategy, tourism could theoretically be strengthened in remote or sequestered places and localities. Hotel management often rented and laboriously refurbished old houses.
